At Surf Coaching Morocco, we think everyone deserves to feel totally at home in the water! For many women and girls, this comfort comes from having a female coach by their side. That’s why we’re super excited to offer surf lessons with Miss Surfista, our fabulous ISA-certified surf instructor right here in Taghazout. She’s not just knowledgeable; she’s friendly and supportive, making sure that every surf session is a great experience for all skill levels.

Miss Surfista has always found joy in the waves of Taghazout Bay, and she is passionate about sharing that experience with others. Dedicating her efforts to coaching women and beginners from all walks of life, she understands the unique challenges that many face when approaching the ocean. Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, her warm and patient personality creates a welcoming environment, making her a favorite among guests, particularly those who feel nervous or uncertain. She truly believes in the transformative power of surfing and is committed to helping everyone find their confidence in the water.

Available for private, semi-private, and group lessons, Miss Surfista can also arrange women-only surf sessions for groups of friends, hen parties, corporate retreats, or solo travelers who prefer a female-led environment. Just mention it when you book.

Surf Lessons FAQs

I've never surfed before can i join?

Absolutely! Our Regular Group lessons are designed specifically for complete beginners. We start with beach theory, safety rules, and practicing popping up on the sand before heading into shallow, white-water waves.

What shoud i bring to the lesson?

Just bring a swimsuit/boardshorts (to wear under the wetsuit), a towel, sunscreen (very important in Morocco!), a hat, and some water. We provide the surfboard, wetsuit, and transport.

Are lessons private or group?

We offer private, semi-private, and regular group lessons to fit your preference and budget.

Can children take surf lessons?

Yes! We offer lessons for children aged 8 and up. For younger children, we highly recommend booking Private or Semi-Private lessons to ensure they have the instructor's undivided attention for safety in the ocean.

Can i Request a Female instructor?

Yes! Miss Surfista, our ISA-certified female instructor, is available for private, semi-private, and group lessons across all our packages. She also offers women-only group sessions on request. Simply mention it when booking — via the contact form, email, or WhatsApp — and we'll arrange it for you.
